Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler are set to star in The Last Five Years conducted and directed by composer Jason Robert Brown in a special 25th anniversary concert run at The London Palladium.

Premiering in Chicago in 2001 before opening Off-Broadway the next year, The Last Five Years chronicles Cathy and Jamie's five-year relationship from two opposing timelines.

In 2014, Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan starred in a film adaptation of the show that has been staged all over the world.

Platt and Zegler will take on the roles of Jamie and Cathy for a series of concert performances celebrating 25 years of the acclaimed show from March 24 to 29, 2026.

Producer Jamie Lambert said, “This beautiful show which has impacted so many people around the world deserves this stellar cast for its 25th anniversary. He referred to Brown as, "one of the greatest composers of our time" and said that working with him is a "total privilege".

Brown’s score includes songs such as “Still Hurting”, “The Schmuel Song”, “If I Didn’t Believe in You” and “Goodbye Until Tomorrow”. The concert’s creative team also comprises musical director Leo Munby and associate director Emma Butler.

General on-sale starts Friday October 31 at 10 am, with a special pre-sale on Thursday October 30 at the same time.
