Global K-pop phenomenon BTS is reportedly preparing to embark on an ambitious world tour in 2026, marking their return to the stage after a four-year break for mandatory military enlistment. According to a Bloomberg report, the tour is expected to feature around 65 concerts, including more than 30 shows across North America.

The tour will coincide with the release of BTS’s long-awaited new album, their first in six years, which is slated to drop in March 2026 under Hybe Co. The upcoming album marks a major milestone for the group, whose members began completing their military service in 2022.

While anticipation continues to grow, Big Hit Music, the group’s management under Hybe, clarified that details about the tour’s scale and dates remain unconfirmed. “The numbers you’ve mentioned are not the latest figures we are discussing,” the label stated in response to the report.

BTS’s return to live performances follows an impressive touring legacy. Their Love Yourself World Tour (2018–19) grossed $196.4 million from just 42 shows, setting a record as the highest-grossing tour by a non-English-language act. Despite the cancellation of their Map of the Soul Tour in 2020 due to the pandemic, the group maintained a strong connection with fans through virtual events such as Bang Bang Con: The Live and Muster Sowoozoo.

Their most recent tour series, Permission to Dance on Stage, included performances in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, attracting over 4 million viewers worldwide. Before beginning their military service, BTS also held a free concert, Yet to Come in Busan, in October 2022 to support South Korea’s World Expo 2030 bid — a heartfelt farewell before their temporary hiatus.
