Women rights activist Husna Rahu dies in crash

Women rights activist Husna Rahu died in a car accident in Badin district late on Thursday night. Husna was the sister of provincial minister Ismail Rahu and the daughter of Fazil Rahu, a notable figure of the Movement for Restoration of Democracy (MRD).
Husna Rahu, 48, was herself a political activist who was a vanguard of Sindhiani Tehreek. Her car met with a fatal accident near Khorwah Chowk on the way to Karachi from Rahuki, Badin. Five persons were also injured. Rahu was laid to rest on Friday in the premises of Fazil Rahu's mausoleum. CM Murad Ali Shah in his condolence message expressed grief on the demise of Ismail Rahu's sister and prayed for her eternal peace.
