Madison Maidenberg breaks silence on emotional Love Is Blind breakup and reunion

Love Is Blind’s Madison Maidenberg breaks silence on her emotional reunion and shocking split from Joe Ferrucci

Love Is Blind star Madison Maidenberg is opening up about her emotional post-show reunion with ex-fiancé Joe Ferrucci, revealing new details about their split and what fans can expect from the Season 9 reunion.

The Netflix reality star explained that her breakup with Joe happened off-camera, shortly after his tux fitting. “He said, ‘You’re not it. If we go to the altar, I’m saying no,’” Madison told Swooon, recalling the heartbreaking 3 a.m. conversation. Despite the emotional fallout, the two later met for dinner weeks after filming wrapped — and even shared a goodbye kiss. “It was confusing,” she admitted. “He ended things with me, so I didn’t understand the tears.”

Madison confessed that she would have said yes at the altar, describing herself as a “lover girl” who wanted to give the experiment a real chance. However, she admitted that Joe’s comments earlier in the season left her feeling insecure. “I wasn’t operating from a place of confidence anymore,” she said. “But this experience taught me a lot, and I’m happier and more confident than ever.”

This season marked the first time in Love Is Blind history that no couples made it to the altar, leaving fans shocked. Reflecting on that, Madison said, “I don’t think we found the right pairings, but everyone is incredible in their own ways.”

Ahead of the reunion, Madison teased that viewers can expect “all the tea spills,” promising closure, confrontation, and emotional honesty when the cast comes face-to-face again.
