Man faces quadruple execution in 'honour' killing case
A sessions court has sentenced a man to four counts of death and imposed a fine of Rs2 million for murdering his mother and three sisters in the name of so-called honour.
The verdict was announced by Additional District and Sessions Judge Sajjad Hussain Khan Baloch, who found Abbas Amrana guilty in FIR 600/24 registered at Kabirwala Saddar Police Station.
The court also sentenced co-accused Usman Chawan to five years in prison for assisting the convict.
According to the case record, the brutal killings took place on June 21, 2024, when Abbas, in a fit of rage, opened fire on his family after spotting one of his sisters sitting on a cot with a man from the village.
When his mother and other sisters refused to restrain her, Abbas lost control and used his landlord's rifle to shoot dead his mother and one sister at home, before chasing down and killing his two other sisters who were working in the fields.
