Two killed in CCD encounters

Two suspected criminals were killed while their accomplices managed to escape after encounters with Crime Control Department (CCD) teams in Baghbanpura and Shahdara..

According to the police, the encounter in Baghbanpura took place when a CCD team signaled three suspects to stop for inspection. The men allegedly opened fire on the police, prompting retaliatory fire. One of the men was killed on the spot, while the two others managed to flee under the cover of darkness.
