PU to help revive Gaza varsities

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali has announced that the institution will extend full academic support to help rebuild universities in Gaza.

He added during a meeting with visiting senior representatives of Palestinian universities on Wednesday that PU faculty members would also voluntarily teach Palestinian students online. Addressing the delegation, the VC said, "The people of Palestine are very close to our hearts." He said the PU would provide free education and hostel facilities to Palestinian students.
