165 couples wed through Dhee Rani initiative

LAHORE:

A total of 165 deserving couples from District Gujranwala tied the knot in a marriage ceremony organised under the "Dhee Rani Programne."

The ceremony, organised in Gakkhar was attended by Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Baitul Mal Sohail Shaukat Butt.

Each newlywed couple received Rs200,000 in cash assistance and a bridal dress as a gift from the chief minister. Under the initiative, more than 5,000 marriages will be solemnised across the province this year.
