A gang of armed robbers stormed a farmhouse near MDA Society Link Road in Steel Town, holding staff hostage and fleeing with 46 goats and sheep worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
According to the farmhouse owner, Sheikh Ali, the robbery occurred around 11:30pm on October 20 (Monday night) when eight to ten armed men arrived in a truck. The suspects tied up all workers, dismantled CCTV cameras and the DVR system to avoid identification, and spent nearly 45 minutes loading the livestock - mostly pink-breed goats - before fleeing.
