Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are looking toward the future together as they prepare to welcome their first baby.

According to PEOPLE, multiple sources have confirmed that the couple has discussed marriage and remains deeply committed to one another. “Pete and Elsie have talked about marriage and are very committed to each other,” one source told the outlet, adding that while an engagement is likely, “they’re not in a rush.”

A separate insider shared that the Saturday Night Live alum, 31, and the model, 29, are “very in love,” with their main focus now on ensuring a healthy pregnancy. The pair first sparked romance rumors in March when they were photographed together during a getaway in Palm Beach, Florida. Soon after, Hewitt made their relationship Instagram official, sharing a video of Davidson laughing in a bathrobe as a Rugrats episode played in the background.

The couple made their red carpet debut two months later, where Hewitt praised the comedian in an interview with PEOPLE, calling him “the best person I’ve ever met.” Reports later confirmed that the two had moved in together in New York City and were “so happy together and doing great.”

Hewitt announced her pregnancy on July 16 through a series of Instagram posts featuring photos with Davidson, a sonogram, and humorous memes referencing Love Island USA and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Sources told PEOPLE that both are thrilled about becoming parents, with Davidson “really embracing” fatherhood and helping prepare the nursery. Hewitt, described as “glowing” and “loving this stage of pregnancy,” has grown even closer to Davidson as they plan for life as a family. “They can’t wait to welcome their child and start this next chapter together,” an insider added.
