Dengue Update: 13 more cases in Sindh

Sindh registered 13 more cases of dengue, nine of which are from Karachi by Tuesay.

KARACHI:
Sindh registered 13 more cases of dengue, nine of which are from Karachi by Tuesay. With the total number of people who have been infected the fresh-water virus this year stands at 330. So far there have been four deaths, three of which were within this month. The peak season for dengue is from October to November. Once a patient is diagnosed with dengue, theirs as well as 50 nearby houses are thoroughly fumigated by the City District Government, said an official at the Dengue Surveillance Cell. In Clifton and Defence, the Cantonment Board Clifton and the Defence Housing Authority have taken charge of the fumigation drive.
