Donates 100 laptops to central jail, announces employment of 500 youths

A delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD), led by Chairman Hassan Bakshi, visited the central jail and met with the Inspector General of Prisons, Fida Hussain Mastoi.
Bakshi held detailed discussions with the IG regarding prisoners' welfare, and donated 100 laptops to support their education, training, and rehabilitation, aiming to help them rebuild their lives after release from incarceration. Chairman ABAD stated that, through technological education, imprisoned individuals may become productive members of society. Further, he emphasised the need for systemic improvements that provide prisoners dignified lives. Here, the chairman remarked that if the judicial system is improved, up to 80 per cent of crimes may be reduced. "A society becomes stronger when we guide those who have gone astray. We want these individuals to become exemplary citizens for the country," he said.
Bakshi also announced that ABAD, in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), will provide vocational training and employment to 500 young individuals.
