In a recent interview on Revolt’s Big Facts podcast, Gucci Mane opened up about his journey toward accountability and forgiveness, revealing personal insights about past conflicts with fellow artists, including Drake and Young Thug.

During the conversation with hosts DJ Scream and Big Bank, the Atlanta rapper revisited his controversial 2013 Twitter meltdown, where he publicly lashed out at many in the hip-hop community, including Drake. Gucci, who later served time in prison and was released in 2016, said he has since reached out to several people he offended during that period, attributing his behavior to a personal crisis.

“I was going through something,” Gucci said. “I texted [Drake] some crazy stuff, but I hit him back like, ‘I’m sorry.’ And he was like, ‘We can get past that. Brothers go through stuff.’” Gucci described the response as deeply meaningful, noting how good it felt to be understood and forgiven.
