PVR Inox will host a Shah Rukh Khan film festival in India

India’s largest cinema chain, PVR Inox, is celebrating Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with a special film festival marking his upcoming birthday on November 2.
The two-week event, launching October 31, will screen seven of Khan’s most memorable titles across more than 75 theaters in over 30 cities in India, allowing fans to relive key moments from his three-decade career on the big screen.
The lineup showcases Khan’s versatility, featuring the action-comedy Chennai Express, the romantic classic Devdas, the political thriller Dil Se, and his recent blockbuster Jawan. Rounding out the selection are Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Main Hoon Na, and the self-referential tribute to Bollywood, Om Shanti Om.
“Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films return to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion,” Khan said in a statement. “These movies aren’t just my stories, they belong to the audiences who have embraced them over the last 33 years.”
Khan also thanked PVR Inox for organizing the festival and his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, “for always believing in stories that connect us all.”
Niharika Bijli, lead strategist at PVR Inox, described Khan as “more than a global icon, he’s an emotion,” adding that the festival is meant as “a tribute to his artistry and the joy he continues to bring to audiences worldwide.”
The retrospective forms part of PVR Inox’s ongoing effort to celebrate influential Indian cinema and its creators, giving younger audiences the chance to discover beloved classics while offering longtime fans a return to the theater experience.
PVR Inox currently operates 1,757 screens across 353 cinemas in 111 cities in India and Sri Lanka.
