Bella Hadid returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after taking time away for health treatment

Bella Hadid made her return to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday as the event marked its second year back following a six-year break. The 2025 runway, streamed live on Amazon Prime Video, aimed to restore the classic glamour of the brand’s earlier shows.

Hadid’s appearance followed her time away from public life to focus on treatment for health complications related to chronic Lyme disease, as well as recent mental health challenges. Her comeback was met with widespread attention from fans and the fashion industry.

The 28-year-old model opened the show wearing a red lace bra and matching thong, paired with sheer stockings and a flowing red cloak. She completed the look with gold-blonde hair and metallic heels.

Later in the evening, she appeared in a white and silver ensemble featuring an opaque bra decorated with sequined tassels, a matching garter and large white floral wings.

Her sister, Gigi Hadid, also took to the runway. She wore a bubblegum-pink top with high-waisted lace panties, complemented by a sheer floral robe. In her second look, Gigi changed into a white teddy and skirt with pillow-like wings. 

The 2025 show featured a mix of returning Victoria’s Secret Angels and new faces. Veterans including Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, and Alessandra Ambrosio appeared alongside newcomers such as Angel Reese, Iris Law, Barbie Ferreira, and Precious Lee.

Musical performances included Missy Elliott, Karol G, K-pop group TWICE, and Madison Beer.

Bella’s participation marked a significant return for both the model and the brand, which continues its efforts to modernise its image while reviving the appeal of its signature fashion spectacle.
