After nearly a year together, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have reportedly called time on their relationship.
According to sources close to the pair, the Mission: Impossible actor, 63, and the Knives Out star, 37, decided to end things recently after realizing their relationship had lost its spark.
A source told The Sun that while Cruise and de Armas “had a good time together,” they eventually decided they were “better off as mates.”
The insider added that both have handled the split “like adults” and plan to continue collaborating, de Armas is still attached to Cruise’s next film, the supernatural thriller Deeper.
Cruise and de Armas first crossed paths in February during early discussions for their upcoming film Deeper, a supernatural thriller now on hold. Their friendship soon turned romantic, and the couple went public in the spring.
Over the following months, they were seen enjoying several getaways, from a helicopter trip to London for Ana’s birthday to a summer escape in Vermont and a sun-soaked holiday in Spain.
The pair also attended David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration and an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium.
While the relationship has ended, both actors reportedly remain committed to collaborating professionally. De Armas, known for her roles in No Time to Die and Blonde, is still attached to Cruise’s next project.
Cruise has been married three times, to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes, while de Armas was previously married to Spanish actor Marc Clotet and dated Ben Affleck in 2020.
For now, the two stars appear to be focusing on their respective careers, leaving behind what friends describe as a “fun but fleeting” chapter in their lives.
