Imran offers to mediate with Afghanistan

RAWALPINDI:

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Wednesday that former prime minister Imran Khan has proposed holding talks to defuse tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan and address related issues if granted release on parole.

Addressing a news conference outside Adiala Jail after meeting Imran, Gohar said, "Today, Imran has sent this message: 'I offer you people to release me on parole, and I will solve the Afghanistan problem for you.'"

Quoting Imran, Gohar said, the PTI founder condemned all forms of terrorism and remarked that the martyrs of the army and police are "our own martyrs".
