Nicki Minaj has ignited fresh controversy after claiming that several individuals have been using her American Express card without her authorisation and she’s pointing fingers at her inner circle, even invoking Roc Nation. The rapper shared screenshots of five unauthorised charges totalling nearly $30,000 and warned that those involved will “go to jail.”

In her post, Minaj said the misuse happened over a span of two months and involved at least three different people. She wrote that some “couldn’t even explain how they had the brand-new card number.” She claimed one thief had been tracking her movements using a device tied to his phone number, while others allegedly have been charging her card for years.

She announced she filed a report and said she would take legal action. “They’re all going to jail,” she declared in her Instagram post. Minaj has yet to name any specific individual publicly.

The timing comes amid renewed tension between Minaj and Cardi B. In recent public exchanges, Cardi claimed that her husband Kenneth Petty has been maxing out her credit cards, a dig that echoed in Minaj’s own revelation. Some fans believe the two situations are linked or at least fuelled by their rivalry.

Minaj’s invocation of Roc Nation in her allegation suggests she believes management or label affiliates may have had a role in the misuse. That is a bold claim, given Roc Nation’s prominence and connections in the music business. If substantiated, it would deepen the scandal beyond simple theft.

The response from her fans has been explosive. Many praised her for going public, while others demanded names and proof. The public now watches whether authorities will charge those she accused and whether Minaj will name the individuals behind the theft ring.
