Nicki Minaj is reportedly at risk of losing her $20 million Los Angeles home after failing to pay a court-ordered sum exceeding $500,000 to a man allegedly assaulted by her husband, Kenneth Petty, in 2019.
Court documents obtained by Page Six reveal that Thomas Weidenmüller, a security guard involved in the incident, has requested the court’s approval to place Minaj’s Hidden Hills mansion up for sale to recover the unpaid amount.
Weidenmüller’s legal team claims that the property’s market value of $20 million, minus existing mortgage and exemption costs of nearly $14 million, leaves more than enough equity to cover the outstanding judgment, accrued interest, and enforcement fees.
The filing argues that Minaj, estimated to have a net worth between $150 million and $190 million, has ignored multiple requests for payment despite her ability to settle the debt.
The case stems from an altercation at Minaj’s 2019 concert in Germany, where Weidenmüller alleged Petty punched him in the face after the rapper criticised a female guard during a show.
The assault reportedly caused severe jaw injuries requiring eight surgeries and the insertion of five plates. Following the incident, a judge awarded Weidenmüller $503,318 in damages.
Nicki Minaj married Kenneth Petty in 2019, and the couple share a son, known publicly as “Papa Bear.”
