Musician John Mayer is reportedly dating social media influencer Kat Stickler, according to a source cited by Us Weekly on Monday. The relationship is described as “still very new,” but insiders claim the 47-year-old singer-songwriter has been actively pursuing the 30-year-old internet personality.

“He has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often,” the source told Us Weekly, adding that it was Mayer who first sought Stickler out.

Stickler, who is newly single, is reportedly open to dating again and is interested in seeing how things develop. While she doesn’t expect the relationship to turn serious, the source noted that the two are currently “just having fun.”

Speculation about their romance gained traction after Deuxmoi reported sightings of Mayer and Stickler spending time together in New York City last weekend. They were allegedly seen at a private members-only club on Friday, where a source described the outing as “definitely a first date, maybe a second.” The pair reportedly shared a booth and appeared “very touchy.”

Their connection seemed to continue the next evening when they were photographed dining at Flyfish Club, another exclusive venue. In the image, Stickler appeared to be laughing with her head down while Mayer looked at her, smiling.

Stickler, who co-parents daughter MK with ex-husband Mike Stickler, recently ended a short-term relationship. Her most recent public romance was with Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick, which lasted around six months in 2023.

Mayer, known as much for his music as for his high-profile relationships, has previously dated several celebrities including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

As of now, neither Mayer nor Stickler has publicly commented on the rumors.
