Victoria Beckham has addressed criticism aimed at her children being labelled as “nepo babies,” saying it is unfair to judge them based on their parents’ fame.

Speaking to The Sun on October 10, the designer and former Spice Girl discussed her son Cruz’s ambitions in music and expressed pride in his efforts.

“I mean, I feel sorry for these kids that are considered nepo babies,” she said. “The kids are simply the kids of their parents. It’s not their fault. Give them a chance.”

Victoria and her husband David Beckham share four children — Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14. She added that kindness and authenticity are more important than public perception.

“What matters is that people are good and kind. It’s fine to be ambitious, but it is more important to be kind. Let the music speak for itself before you judge,” she said.

The Beckham family has remained in the public eye through both Victoria’s fashion career and David’s football legacy. Recently, the couple celebrated their son Romeo’s 23rd birthday, sharing family moments on social media.

Videos posted by Victoria showed the family singing together as Cruz presented a birthday cake, accompanied by the caption, “Happy Birthday Romeo!!! We love you so much!!!”

David Beckham also marked the occasion with a series of Instagram posts, including a throwback photo of the pair at a Los Angeles Lakers game, captioned “My Boy,” with a yellow heart emoji.

The couple’s close family dynamic was also on display at the London premiere of Victoria Beckham on Netflix, where David praised his wife’s achievements, writing that he was “very proud of the journey” she continues to share with the world. Victoria later responded, saying she was moved to “happy tears.”
