Illegal cannula centres sealed, equipment seized

The district administration and police carried out a large-scale crackdown against private cannula centers and seized their equipment. The action was taken in view of the rising numbers of HIV/AIDS cases in the district.

A team consisting of the assistant commissioner, Healthcare Commission and police, conducted raids on several illegal cannula centres located on Hospital Road and other areas of Nawabshah.

During the operation, equipment and medical materials were confiscated.
