Officer suspended for overflowing gutters

While the rest of the city may rot in sewage and filth, an officer of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) was suspended for overflowing gutters in front of the CM House.

Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah took serious notice of the accumulation of sewage water on Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road and ordered the suspension of the concerned Assistant Executive Engineer of KWSC.

The CS has expressed strong displeasure over the presence of sewage water on one of the city's main thoroughfares and directed the Managing Director of KWSC to take immediate action.
