HasanAbi animal abuse scandal deepens as new alleged evidence emerges about shock collar use

The ongoing controversy surrounding political streamer Hasan Piker, known online as HasanAbi, has intensified after a new video surfaced allegedly showing his interaction with his dog, Kaya.
The 20-second clip, recorded during his October 12, 2025 livestream, went viral on X and Reddit, with many viewers claiming it supports earlier accusations that he used a shock collar on his pet.

Moments later, Kaya appears to stir and reposition herself in the background. The clip has reignited debate across social media, with viewers and fellow streamers interpreting the footage as evidence of inappropriate behaviour.
Kick streamer Louis “LosPollosTV” reacted to the footage, writing, “This literally confirms the shock remote is next to him… He reaches for it, obviously hits the button and the dog jumps up shocked… All that because they’re not laying the right way?! Are you f**king serious???”
H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein also weighed in, sharing on Instagram that HasanAbi “reached for the shock button because Kaya was sitting in an uncute way,” adding that “she immediately responds as soon as he reaches over, exactly the same as the original clip.”
Former OTK member John “Tectone” posted several related videos, claiming, “There are now 7 videos of Hasan electrocuting his dog leaked in the past 24 hours… Same movement. Same emotion. Same reaction.” He alleged that Hasan uses Kaya as “a prop for six to eight hours a day” to appear relatable.
As the footage continues to circulate, HasanAbi has not publicly addressed the latest claims, though the controversy — dubbed “CollarGate” — continues to divide the streaming community.
