Ruaridh Mollica joins Marvel’s ‘VisionQuest’ as Wanda and Vision’s son Tommy
Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that actor Ruaridh Mollica will join the cast of VisionQuest, portraying Tommy Maximoff, the son of Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision.
The series, set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, will continue the storylines established in WandaVision and further explore Vision’s search for identity following his resurrection as White Vision.
Mollica’s casting marks a major step forward for VisionQuest, which is expected to blend science fiction and emotional drama as it dives into the aftermath of Wanda’s disappearance and Vision’s quest to understand humanity. Tommy, known in the comics as one-half of the superhero duo Wiccan and Speed, will reportedly play a significant role in shaping the show’s emotional core.
Marvel recently confirmed that VisionQuest will feature returning characters from WandaVision, alongside new faces who will expand the mystical and technological sides of the MCU. The announcement of Mollica’s role has fueled speculation about whether Julian Hilliard, who originally portrayed Tommy in WandaVision, will appear through flashbacks or alternate realities.
The series, led by Paul Bettany as Vision, will also tie into upcoming MCU storylines related to the multiverse and the Young Avengers. Fans are already anticipating how Tommy’s character arc will evolve and whether he’ll reunite with his brother Billy in future Marvel projects.
