Marvel Animation has confirmed that Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man will premiere on Disney+ in fall 2026.

The announcement was made during New York Comic Con, where attendees were shown a trailer teasing the return of several familiar characters and the arrival of new ones.

The trailer revealed that the upcoming season will introduce the Venom symbiote and Gwen Stacy while also bringing back Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Returning characters include Norman and Harry Osborn, alongside villains such as Doctor Octopus, Chameleon and Scorpion. The footage also hinted at Nico Minoru’s developing magical powers.

Hudson Thames voices Peter Parker in the animated series, which first debuted on Disney+ in early 2025. The show takes place in a universe distinct from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, offering a reimagined take on the character and his supporting cast.

In this version, Peter Parker is mentored not by Tony Stark but by Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo. Osborn, the CEO of Oscorp, provides internships to Peter and his friends while concealing ulterior motives. Peter’s closest allies include influencer Harry Osborn, voiced by Zeno Robinson, and Nico Minoru, voiced by Grace Song, who secretly practises witchcraft.

Other cast members include Eugene Byrd as a young Tombstone, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Aleks Le as Amadeus Cho and Jonathan Medina as Scorpion.

Season 1 concluded with Doctor Strange, voiced by Robert Atkin Downes, helping Spider-Man confront the Venom symbiote after its arrival from another dimension.

Norman Osborn secretly retained a fragment of the alien for experimentation, while Peter discovered his father Richard Parker is still alive and imprisoned — setting the stage for the events of Season 2.
