YouTuber Matthew “MatPat” Patrick is set to return for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 in a significantly expanded role, following his brief cameo in the 2023 original.
Director Emma Tammi confirmed the news during BlumFest 2025, revealing that MatPat will voice Toy Bonnie, one of the sequel’s upgraded animatronics.

Toy Bonnie is described as a refurbished version of the original animatronic, equipped with advanced facial recognition technology designed to identify predators and protect children. In the film, this system has been altered by William Afton to interpret all adults as potential threats, heightening the sequel’s tension.
Megan Fox joins the cast as Toy Chica, a role she was “really pumped” to take on due to her children’s enthusiasm for the franchise. Meanwhile, Kellen Goff, a veteran FNAF performer who voiced several Freddy iterations in past games, will voice Toy Freddy.
Tammi teased that more animatronics and deeper lore await fans, while producer Jason Blum shared production photos hinting at appearances from Mangle and Balloon Boy.
