In an unusual turn of events, a bride and groom in Lahore abandoned their wedding car and boarded a train after TLP protests choked major roads on Saturday.
The couple, who were on their way to Rawalpindi, found themselves stuck in gridlock caused by road closures.
With traffic barely moving and time running out, they drove straight to Lahore Railway Station, parked their decorated vehicle in the lot and caught a departing train.
Railway officials and fellow passengers watched with amusement as the newlyweds, carrying their luggage, hurried to board the train.
