JUI-F says Gandapur's removal exposes PTI's governance failures
Haji Abdul Jalil Jan
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Information Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Abdul Jalil Jan, has said that the removal of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is clear evidence of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government's overall failure in the province.
He stated that over the past 12 years, PTI has turned K-P into a "political laboratory," where each new chief minister was imposed as part of another experiment. "However, every such experiment has only resulted in inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and backwardness for the people," he remarked.
Abdul Jalil Jan said that even PTI's central leadership has now admitted that Gandapur failed miserably in running the provincial government. "His flawed policies not only shattered public trust but also crippled the province financially. Today, K-P is burdened with debt, development projects have come to a halt, the education and health systems are in ruins, and the people's problems remain unresolved," he added.
He further said PTI is once again preparing for a "new experiment" in an attempt to cover up its previous failures. "But the people now fully understand that this party is playing with their future in the name of experimentation. Even after 12 years in power, there are no signs of progress, instead, the province continues to regress with each passing day," he maintained.
Recalling the tenure of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), Abdul Jalil Jan said that it was a period of genuine development and public welfare. "During that time, students were given free textbooks, public schools and colleges were strengthened, and education was treated as a service, not a business. But today's rulers have not only deprived students of basic facilities but are also intent on privatizing schools and hospitals," he said.
He concluded that the PTI government has failed in every sector related to public welfare. "The time has come for the people of K-P to rise and put an end to these failed political experiments once and for all. The real question is, how long will this party continue to use our province as a testing ground?" he questioned.
