Popular YouTuber and streamer Charles White Jr., known online as MoistCr1TiKaL, has asked his audience to stop donating money through YouTube memberships and Super Chats.
In a recent video, he explained that he had disabled monetisation features and encouraged viewers to direct their support toward charitable causes instead.
“There are so many better options for your money,” White said, noting that he would also disable Twitch subscriptions if it were possible.
“I would say toodle-oo, give it a strong slap on the ass, tell it good game and goodbye,” he added while discussing his decision to remove financial contributions from his channels.
White emphasised the importance of redirecting funds toward humanitarian organisations. “There are so many good charities doing extremely good work that could be benefited greatly from your contribution,” he said.
“Like maybe you’d want to donate to a charity that’s doing extremely important work in Gaza. That would be a significantly better use of that money than donating it to me.”
The creator, who has over 13 million subscribers, has previously been vocal about using his platform for positive causes. His latest appeal highlights a growing trend among content creators who use their influence to draw attention to global crises and encourage charitable giving.
By turning off direct monetisation, White aims to ensure that financial contributions from his followers make a tangible difference through verified charitable efforts.
