Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon briefed the British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi Lance Dom on the Sindh government's initiatives in the energy sector during their meeting on Thursday.
Sharjeel said that new solar and wind hybrid power projects would soon be launched with support of the World Bank, adding that the govt was keen to strengthen cooperation with the United Kingdom and other international partners to expand renewable and sustainable energy ventures in the province. "Sindh is rich in natural resources, and our govt is committed to making the province energy self-sufficient."
