PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar has directed all party lawmakers to ensure their presence in the country ahead of the upcoming election for the new Chief Minister, warning that strict action will be taken against any member found absent.

According to party sources, PTI has finalized its strategy for the chief ministerial election. In light of concerns over possible defections, all MPAs have been instructed to stay within the country and remain in close coordination with party leadership.

Junaid Akbar emphasized that any lawmaker approached by state institutions or political opponents must immediately inform the party leadership. "Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action," he cautioned.

Meanwhile, PTI Central Secretary for Information Waqas Akram Sheikh shared a copy of the resignation submitted by outgoing Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, confirming that the document was officially received by the Governor's House staff at 10:57 pm last night.
