Todd Nepola, ex-husband of Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola, has filed a $10 million defamation lawsuit against Bravo and affiliated companies, alleging the network portrayed him falsely on the hit reality series.

Filed on Tuesday, the lawsuit claims that Bravo aired misleading and damaging statements suggesting Todd is “financially irresponsible” and facing financial distress. According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, Nepola alleges the network “intentionally and maliciously” aired defamatory content in RHOM Seasons 6 and 7, using his name and likeness without proper consent and causing reputational harm within Miami’s business community.

Todd, a real estate investor and developer, participated in Seasons 4 and 5 “out of love and support” for Alexia. However, he claims he did not sign a contract for Seasons 6 or 7. Despite his absence from Season 7, his divorce from Alexia has remained a central storyline, with producers re-airing prior footage and cast members referencing him in new scenes.

The lawsuit highlights Season 6 moments where cast member Adriana de Moura allegedly suggested Todd’s business was “struggling” and the couple had “money trouble.” Todd asserts he repeatedly informed producers that these statements were false, but they allegedly responded by saying they “did not care,” prioritizing drama over accuracy.

“Bravo will twist and distort the truth and manipulate the show’s storylines, regardless of the path of destruction they leave behind, as long as the content makes for ‘good television,’” the suit reads.

Todd, 52, contends he has maintained a flawless personal and financial record, emphasizing that he’s never defaulted on payments or experienced any financial hardship. He also states his net worth is over $100 million.

Neither Bravo nor representatives for Alexia Nepola or Adriana de Moura have responded to media requests for comment.
