PlayStation’s orchestral concert series, PlayStation: The Concert, has been cancelled across North America, just days before the first performance of its 2025 tour.
The show was due to begin at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport this week, featuring live renditions of music from popular PlayStation titles such as The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon, and Ghost of Tsushima.
Fans noticed cancellations appearing on Ticketmaster over the weekend, with several remaining 2025 shows now listed as cancelled. Only a handful of performances are still displaying ticket options, and in some cases, users are met with an error message stating tickets are unavailable.
Earlier this year, several of the concert’s UK shows were also postponed to 2026, but the latest North American changes appear to be outright cancellations rather than rescheduled dates.
Sony has not issued a statement regarding the decision, though speculation online points to low ticket sales in some regions. Observers have noted that attendance varied widely between venues, with some concerts showing empty seats despite strong marketing among fans of PlayStation franchises.
On Monday, GEA Live, the production company behind the tour, released a statement confirming the cancellations. “It is with great regret that we have cancelled the PlayStation | The Concert tour in North America. Our team has spent a considerable amount of time developing this project, and we share in the disappointment of fans who will no longer be able to attend. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the show and appreciate your understanding in making this difficult decision.”
GEA Live later clarified that the decision specifically applies to the 2025 North American tour dates. The company has not confirmed whether any of the planned 2026 international performances will be affected.
