Taylor Swift gives three-word answer on wedding plans during Graham Norton Show
Taylor Swift has offered a brief but playful response to questions about her upcoming wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show to promote her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, Swift was asked by the host if next year would be the year of her wedding.
The singer replied, “Oh, you’ll know.” Norton joked in return, “So you’re going big,” to which Swift responded, “I just meant that I was going to invite you to it.”
When asked if she had started planning, Swift confirmed she was focusing on her music first. “I’m doing the album thing now, which is a big thing,” she said. “I think the wedding is what happens after that, in the scheme of planning. I’m so excited about it.”
She added that she did not intend to make the guest list a stressful process, saying, “The only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble. I’m not going to do that. There’s no bubble.”
Swift and Kelce, both 35, announced their engagement in August via Instagram, sharing photos of Kelce proposing with a diamond ring designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewellery.
During the interview, Swift also discussed her album, revealing that the track “Opalite” is dedicated to Kelce, whose birthstone is opal. She described it as a metaphor for “making your own happiness” and confirmed it is her fiancé’s favourite song from the record.
