Rapper 50 Cent wasted no time responding to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent prison sentence, using social media to mock the disgraced music mogul shortly after his court hearing. As reported by LADbible, the two artists have a long history of public feuds, with 50 Cent frequently using Diddy’s legal troubles as material for online ridicule.

Combs, 55, was sentenced on October 3 in New York by Judge Arun Subramanian to 50 months in prison and fined heavily after being convicted of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution — a violation of the Mann Act, which prohibits interstate commerce for prostitution-related activities. While Diddy avoided some of the more severe charges, prosecutors argued that his defense’s request for a 14-month sentence was insufficient.

Ahead of the sentencing, prosecutor Christy Slavik revealed that Diddy’s team had already scheduled speaking engagements, suggesting they anticipated a lighter outcome. 50 Cent seized on that detail in a sarcastic post on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, sharing a courtroom sketch of Diddy with the caption:

In addition to his social media comments, 50 Cent also submitted a tongue-in-cheek victim impact statement, humorously claiming he had “feared for his life” over the years due to their long-running feud. The letter urged the judge to “consider public safety” before releasing Combs, adding a jab that Diddy would “go back to hiring more male sex workers” and teasing a forthcoming Netflix documentary about the scandal.

Combs’ sentencing follows months of media scrutiny surrounding his trial, which began after his 2024 arrest at New York’s Park Hyatt hotel.
