Actor Hania Aamir's ongoing visit to Bangladesh has become a social media sensation, with every step of her journey drawing attention across the region.

During her promotional trip, Aamir visited the home of Bangladeshi YouTuber Iftekhar Rafsan, where she joined his family for a special gathering. Videos from the visit showed the actor enjoying traditional dishes and engaging warmly with Rafsan's family.

One clip that quickly went viral captured her delight at Bangladeshi gulab jamun, with Aamir jokingly asking if she could take some back to Pakistan. Online users praised her humility, Rafsan's hospitality, and the warmth of his mother.

The visit followed weeks of buzz around Aamir's activities in Bangladesh, where she has been sharing glimpses of her vibrant experiences. From donning fresh flowers in her hair to wearing the Bangladeshi cricket team's jersey, her posts have drawn admiration and endeared her to local fans.

However, her trip also sparked debate after a weekend event took a dramatic turn. On stage, Aamir was asked to pick between Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan and Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan. While the crowd largely chanted for SRK, she chose Shakib. The moment, captured in a viral video, triggered divided reactions.

Some social media users criticised her choice, linking it to the ban on Pakistani actors in India. Others defended Aamir, suggesting she was simply being courteous to her Bangladeshi hosts. A few pointed out that the viral clip may have been edited to create controversy, noting her full response suggested Shakib was the natural choice for a local audience.

On the work front, Aamir was last seen in the Indian Punjabi film Sardaarji 3 alongside Diljit Dosanjh, which did not release in India due to the ban.
