Female students get modern sports facilities

ISLAMABAD:

The Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) gifted two modern sports facilities to girls' colleges in Islamabad on Wednesday, creating new opportunities for youth engagement, physical activity, and personal development.

A newly constructed pedal tennis court was inaugurated at Islamabad College for Girls (ICG) F-8/1, alongside a state-of-the-art futsal ground at IMCG F-7/4.

The initiative reflects the government's commitment to providing students with enhanced opportunities to stay active, develop teamwork, and adopt healthy lifestyles.

Under the leadership of Federal Secretary IPC Mohyuddin Wani, Federal Parliamentary Secretary IPC Kiran Imran Dar, and Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Yasir Pirzada,

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony at IMCG F-7/4, IPC Secretary Mohyuddin Wani remarked, "Every week, we are bringing positive news for the youth of Islamabad. Sports plus students equals a strong future. These new facilities are a gift to our younger generation—encouraging them to excel not only in academics but also in physical pursuits."
