New Heights podcast marks Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl release with viral meme

The New Heights podcast marked the release of Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl with a pair of Instagram posts that quickly caught fans’ attention.

Hosted by NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, the podcast shared both a meme and a clip from Swift’s first appearance on the show.

The album, Swift’s 12th studio record, was released on October 3. To celebrate, New Heights posted a meme based on the film Mean Girls.

The podcast also revisited Swift’s debut appearance, sharing a clip where she revealed the album artwork to the Kelce brothers, who applauded her announcement. “This is my brand new album. It’s called The Life of a Showgirl,” Swift said.

She explained that she worked on the record while touring in Europe for the Eras Tour. “I would be playing shows, I’d, like, do three shows in a row, then I’d have three days off, I’d fly to Sweden. Go back to the tour and actually, like, working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point of the tour but so mentally stimulated and excited to be creating this.”
