Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent has weighed in on the ongoing public feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, cautioning that the dispute could escalate if not resolved.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Oct. 2, 50 Cent expressed concern over the intensity of their recent exchanges.

“I hope the girls stop fighting before things escalate,” he wrote. “I read some of what they’re saying to each other, and this could get ugly.”

The feud has seen both Minaj and Cardi B exchanging heated remarks on social media, with Minaj recently being labeled “Donkey of the Day” on The Breakfast Club. Other artists and commentators have also weighed in. Waka Flocka Flame called the feud “corny” and encouraged the rappers to end it, while Charlamagne tha God suggested the tension stems from unresolved personal issues, questioning how two influential artists could engage in such conflict.

Cardi B’s involvement in the feud comes at a high point in her career, with her album Am I the Drama?, featuring Selena Gomez, currently sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj, whose most recent album was the 2023 Pink Friday sequel, has teased a new project slated for March 2026, though details remain under wraps.
