Two killed in Shangla well collapse

SHANGLA:

Two laborers were killed and two others sustained serious injuries when soil collapsed during the excavation of a water well in the Kandai area of Chakesar, Shangla, on Thursday.

According to locals, the incident occurred as workers were digging nearly 160 feet deep when the well suddenly caved in, burying four men under debris. Residents quickly initiated rescue efforts and informed Rescue 1122 teams. The deceased were identified as Johar Ali, son of Tajbar, and Baz Muhammad, son of Sharif Khan, both residents of Kandai Chakesar.
