Despite being in recovery from a caesarean section, she decided on a last-minute whim to compete.
Baby Cereza was born on September 22 via C-section following pregnancy complications, including a uterine window that posed serious risks. Doctors explained that if she had gone into active labour, her uterus could have ruptured. Delivery was therefore scheduled early.
At Juicy Game Night, Legi0n entered the four-player bracket while holding her newborn. She progressed through the matches, even defeating her husband before facing King Kai in the Grand Finals. In a closely fought 3–2 set, she claimed first place, earning $28 and qualifying for DreamHack Atlanta in October.
Her victory was widely celebrated by the community online, with players praising her achievement of balancing competition with caring for her infant. In a post on X, she reflected on the experience: “So glad that we honestly left the house and did this. Our daughter’s so chill around noise and car rides… Never want to stop doing things that I love, just need to adjust my life accordingly.”
Legi0n has also spoken openly about the risks of childbirth, sharing that she nearly lost her life during both pregnancies. Her first daughter, Alcina, tragically passed away after 11 days due to Kasabach Merritt Syndrome. In Alcina’s memory, she donated to the National Organization for Rare Diseases (NORD) to support research and awareness.
