Nicole Wallace is making her next big career move, signing an exclusive talent deal with Amazon MGM Studios and stepping straight into her newest role for Prime Video. The Spanish-American actress, best known as the breakout star of the Culpables trilogy, will headline Postcards from Italy, a coming-of-age dramedy set in Palermo.

The series follows Mia, a spoiled young heiress from New York who is cut off from her wealth and forced to survive in Sicily without her usual luxuries. Tasked with working in her family’s real estate business, Mia must navigate the culture shock, responsibility, and life lessons that come with being stripped of her privilege. Directed by Oscar-winner Jessica Yu and created by Lisa Riccardi and Damiano Bruè, the series will be produced in partnership with Gaumont Italia.

Wallace expressed her excitement about the project, saying she felt inspired to push herself creatively in portraying Mia. “This partnership is a dream opportunity to grow, collaborate with visionary voices, and help bring meaningful stories to life,” she said.

Amazon MGM executives also hailed Wallace as one of the most promising international stars of her generation, highlighting how she has already connected with global audiences. Wallace has been central to Prime Video’s most successful non-English-language releases, with Culpa Tuya becoming the streamer’s biggest-ever international hit. The final chapter of the trilogy, Culpa Nuestra, is set to premiere on October 16.

Beyond Postcards from Italy, Wallace is already lined up for another high-profile project: The House of Spirits, a 2026 Amazon Original adaptation of Isabel Allende’s novel, produced by Eva Longoria. She will star as the young Clara del Valle alongside Alfonso Herrera, Dolores Fonzi and Fernanda Castillo.

Wallace’s resume also includes Netflix’s Ni Una Más (Raising Voices), which topped the streamer’s global non-English charts. With her dual U.S.-Spanish citizenship and growing presence across major platforms, Wallace is positioning herself as a rare international crossover talent, now firmly backed by Amazon MGM’s global slate.
