Body and head found miles apart

A human head of an unidentified person was found in a stream in block H, North Nazimabad. Police sent the head to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal procedures.

Reportedly, the head appeared to be approximately two days old. It is suspected that it floated from another location. Locals found it in the stream and informed the police. DNA testing is being conducted to help identify the victim.

Earlier, in a related incident, a decapitated body wrapped in a sack was found in the Gujjar Nala, block L, North Nazimabad, which falls under the jurisdiction of Taimuria Police Station. After completing legal formalities, the body was transferred to the Chhipa morgue. Late Tuesday night, the victim was identified as Muhammad Yousuf, from Oghi, Mansehra. Police have registered a murder case against unknown suspects. Authorities suspect that the head found might belong to the same victim, but have not confirmed it.
