Klay Thompson’s comments at the NBA Media Day have sparked speculation about the state of his relationship with Megan Thee Stallion.
The Golden State Warriors star was asked how dating the rapper had made him a “better man on and off” the court, but his response quickly raised questions among fans.
In a clip shared online, Thompson appeared unsettled by the inquiry. “I’m not going to talk about that,” he said.

Instead, he shifted focus to his training, explaining: “Every summer doesn’t change for me, because I know what it takes to go the distance, and there’s really no such thing as an offseason. The summertime is just as strenuous as the season. You have to train as if you’re going to play 100 games a year. And that’s what I do.”
The decision to sidestep the relationship question has led to rumours that he and Megan may no longer be together.
On social media, some users speculated about a possible split, while others suggested Thompson simply wanted to avoid personal topics during a professional event.
Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion went public with their relationship earlier this summer, making it Instagram official before attending events together.
In July, Thompson joined her at the Pete & Thomas Foundation gala in New York, praising her philanthropy and achievements. “This is just another incredible feat of hers to be able to give back, create a foundation, and raise a ton of money for those in need,” he said at the time. “And I’m honoured to be here by her side.”
