British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has returned to social media activity, almost a year after facing sexual assault charges in Australia.

In January 2025, prosecutors filed further charges linked to a separate case. Court documents cited by Dexerto detail six counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of strangulation. The entertainer has denied the allegations, entering not guilty pleas during a March appearance at Perth Magistrates Court, where paparazzi photographed him briefly addressing reporters.
After remaining inactive online for nearly a year, viewers recently noticed that Yung Filly had posted new stories to his Snapchat account. Screenshots shared on X (formerly Twitter) show one selfie asking whether his curly hairstyle “suits” him, and another image of his gaming setup, where he claimed to be the “best at Warzone.” The posts made no mention of the ongoing case, sparking mixed reactions among fans and critics. Some social media users accused him of avoiding accountability, while others dismissed the updates as a deflection tactic.
Yung Filly is best known for his collaborations with fellow creator Chunkz and as a member of the YouTube collective Beta Squad. He has also appeared on BBC Three programming and Celebrity Bake Off.
A judge recently modified his bail terms, allowing him to briefly return to the UK in September 2025. However, he is required to travel back to Australia by January 7, 2026, when his trial is scheduled to begin at the Perth District Court.
