Latto has confirmed her relationship with 21 Savage after years of speculation, telling TMZ she was on her way “to go have this dinner with my husband” in New York City.
When asked if she was tired of questions about him, she responded with a firm “No,” before repeating, “My man, my man, my man, my man.”
The revelation follows years of rumours that began circulating in December 2020. While the two collaborated on Latto’s 2022 single "Wheelie", 21 Savage denied speculation during a Clubhouse session later that year, stating, “I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend.”
Hints of a deeper connection surfaced in 2022 when fans noticed Latto had a tattoo behind her ear reading “Shéyaa,” widely interpreted as a reference to 21 Savage’s birth name, Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph.
In May 2023, Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee said Latto’s team contacted him to remove a post featuring the tattoo, claiming he was even offered money to take it down.
Her reluctance to address rumours continued through 2024, with Latto telling Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, “The internet don’t know a got-damn thing. Let’s start there. It ain’t really nobody’s business. Like, listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”
Now, Latto has openly acknowledged the relationship, marking a shift after nearly five years of speculation. The confirmation also comes amid 21 Savage’s ongoing immigration case, which had previously fuelled speculation about his marital status.
