Toshakhana-II case proceeding last almost 8 hours
The Toshakhana-II reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi saw its longest hearing on Monday at Adiala Jail, lasting over seven-and-a-half hours.
The case was heard by Special Central Judge Shah Rukh Arjumand in the jail courtroom, where both the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were produced.
During the proceedings, the prosecution's witness, NAB investigation officer Mohsin Haroon, recorded his statement. However, the cross-examination by the defence counsel, Faisal Mufti, could not be completed. The hearing was adjourned due to a power outage at the jail and will now resume on Oct 1.
