Man kills brother over property dispute

A man killed his elder brother with an axe over a property dispute in the Kirpa Ram area of Pakpattan Sadar.

According to police, Muhammad Khan, attacked his brother Muhammad Usman with an axe after the latter refused to transfer property in his name.

The accused struck Usman on the head, causing severe injuries.

Eyewitnesses, including Umar Farooq, a younger brother, and two villagers, Ali Hasnain and Ali Akbar, reported seeing the attack.

Usman collapsed unconscious after the assault, while Muhammad Khan fled the scene before locals could intervene. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured victim to District Headquarters Hospital Pakpattan, where Usman succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
