MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has released a new YouTube video titled "Would You Risk Dying For $500,000," where contestants attempted a series of high-risk challenges for a cash prize. The video has drawn strong criticism online for a sequence involving fire.

One of the most talked-about moments featured a professional stuntman tied up inside a burning building. The challenge required him to escape his restraints and retrieve bags of money from the flames.

While the stuntman successfully completed the task, clips of the challenge circulated widely on social media and led to heated debate about safety.

Commentators on social media argued that the challenge introduced unnecessary danger, with some warning that such escalating stunts could lead to serious injury if continued.

Some users also expressed concern over the money that appeared to be burning in the video while others argued that the spectacle showed the excesses of online content.

MrBeast has long been known for expensive stunts and philanthropic giveaways, but he has also faced ongoing controversy.

In September 2024, a class action lawsuit was filed by contestants of his Amazon Prime competition series Beast Games, alleging mistreatment and unsafe working conditions. The case is still active, with MrBeast denying the allegations.
